That Light Though

When I first moved into this apartment - now almost one year ago - I thought it would be the perfect white, bright, light-filled home. White walls, white floors, big windows... practically a Pinterest dream.

I quickly realized that this wasn't the case: turns out that the light in my apartment is slightly gloomy and the trees in front of those big windows ensure that the light only partially comes through. With as a result that I have the most beautiful shadow play on my bare white walls throughout the day. Not quite what I expected, but definitely something I have come to love, as it just makes for the perfect "natural art".
