I have been a little more colourful in the last little while, especially around here, (remember this pink number?!), but in reality my day-to-day still looks a lot like this. All-black, easy-going, no fuss. People regularly ask me why I "always" wear black, which makes me smile because it feels so natural to me and yet it makes others wonder. I think I have talked about this before, but... Every time I grab a coffee somewhere and do some good ol' people watching, it's the people wearing all-black that always catch my eye. The neighbourhood I live in here in Berlin (Mitte) is apparently known for "everybody being dressed in black". I think it's a bit of an exaggeration, although I definitely regularly spot some very well-dressed people in all-black looks. What makes them look so well-dressed in my opinion, besides the monochrome aspect of the outfit? Some good layers, great shoes and subtle details.
