Ok guys, so while I am really not ready to think about S/S 16 just yet (I mean, summer 2015 is still kind of here), I wanted to share some of my NYFW runway favourites with you. Because even though I don't think two seasons ahead, I did find some great inspiration from the Spring 2016 RTW collections for the current season. Perks of not being much of a trend follower: feel inspired and apply it straight away - other than layering up/down I don't really think in seasons when it comes to styling. Plus by the time the S/S 2016 collections hit the stores I am probably a) bored with what we're seeing on the runway now, and b) already into something else by then (moods & tastes change).
What I loved about these particular looks is that they can practically be worn year round, or at least a variation of it. Each look is both classic and modern, sexy yet elegant, clean and edgy. As I mentioned yesterday, one of the things I want to change (=expand) in my wardrobe is the palette of 'minimal neutrals' (colder tones of navy, burgundy, camel etc). Another would be the addition of flowy, silky pieces. In short: a little more femininity, a little more sexy, a little more elegance. And a little less denim and cotton tees.
Now the tricky part: where to shop on the high street?
