It always takes some time to adjust to living in a new city. There are so many things to take care of as you're basically starting your life over. In Vancouver it took me a while to settle in (remember this post?), but this time around I am really getting into the groove much faster. It may be because I am back on own soil (European, that is) or the fact that I have learned so much from my previous move abroad. Perhaps it's also just time... you know, as in 'old age' and the wisdom that comes along with that... Ha!

In any case, the settling in is in its final stages - just need to dot some i's - and gears are in motion for some great things to come. Perhaps a staycation is not the worst thing when you're working on making ideas happen...

PS. On a fashion note: yes, these Stan Smith babies may have (temporarily?) replaced my beloved loafers. Suddenly every outfit feels right with white kicks. Whowouldathunkit.
