One of my last projects of 2015 was a collaboration with Zign, coincidentally also one of my favourite projects of the year. The idea was to combine architecture with fashion: two aspects that greatly inspire me (and overflow my Pinterest boards). The location was a no-brainer - this spot is probably is my favourite to shoot at in Berlin. Inspired by the straight lines and muted surroundings, I kept the outfit very minimal too. Not quite monochrome, as the coat is dark navy, which made it a bit more interesting and suited the river and glass in the background.

We took the opportunity and inspiration to also take some other photos - more architecture and less me fashion. I love being behind the lens and having full control of capturing what I had in mind. It's always more challenging to "get the shot" when you can't actually see the full picture (and when you're a bit of a perfectionist in your own way). Regardless whether I'm in front or behind the lens - it's fun to be creative, so for 2016 I am planning on doing a lot more projects like this. In the mean time: this way to see the shots & interview for the Zign "Step Up" campaign!
